Ben Woodward
Ben Woodward has played for many opera companies in Britain, the US and Germany. He is the founder of Fulham Opera, with whom he played the entire Ring Cycle in their 2014 Ring Cycles. He has played for vocal auditions for many companies, including Grange Park Opera, Opera Holland Park and Longborough Festival Opera. He has additionally worked for the One World Symphony in New York, the SH-Landestheater in Flensburg, the Musiktheater im Revier, Gelsenkirchen and Hannover Staatsoper in Germany.
Simon Tong
is an Essex-born trumpet player living and working in London. In 2004 he was given a full scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of music on the 4 year Bachelor of Music course, during which time he won the John Soloman Prize for Brass & Woodwind and played first trumpet for many of the ensembles and orchestras including the Concert orchestra and Opera.
Since graduating he has worked in and around London as a freelance musician. He regularly performs with the London Musical Arts Orchestra at St. Martin in the Fields and during 2011 he was a member of the Southbank Sinfonia. He is a keen educator and has worked as both an instrumental teacher and as an animateur with children and adults from various backgrounds including those with learning difficulties and from the homeless community.
As a recording engineer, he has recorded and edited several discs, including the choral works of Fulham-based composer Robert Mansell.
